October’s Very Own. Not affiliated to the Drake nor related to Kendrick. This is the very merry season of October. Where special people and personas are born!!! This fortunately includes me.

As I grow a year older I have realised there was a time when I used to grow more vertically i.e. I grew taller etc. Lately I have felt that I have started to grow horizontally (pun intended) . Honestly, I have started to grow in my mindset, in my beliefs and faith, in what I would say is how I perceive the world. I have challenged previously held mindsets and ways of thinking. Some I have changed and some I have resolved to keep as they still hold strong in my life. The most I have done is learn to accept criticism and to be challenged on everything. Like the way a tree or plant is pruned and new branches sprout that is how I feel I have evolved. New leaves, flowers have fallen off me and replaced by brand new brightly looking flowers. The picture below from Psalms 32:8-9 has guided me through this all.
